Cockroach Control in Southern Colorado

 Cockroaches look for food, moisture, warmth and protected places to hide. Kitchens, bathrooms, utility areas, storage spaces and other locations with access to food or water can provide what they need.

Roaches can also be brought into a property inside boxes, bags, appliances, furniture and other items. Once established, some species can reproduce quickly and hide in cracks and areas that are difficult to see.

Seeing cockroaches during the day can sometimes be a sign of heavier activity, since many cockroaches are most active at night.

 German and Oriental cockroaches are two of the cockroaches we commonly deal with in Southern Colorado, but they tend to behave very differently.

German cockroaches are usually found indoors, especially around kitchens, appliances and other areas where food and moisture are available. They reproduce quickly, so a small problem can become a much larger one if left untreated.

Oriental cockroaches are often associated with cooler, damp areas and may be found around basements, crawlspaces, drains, utility areas and outside around buildings.

Because the treatment can depend on the species, knowing which cockroach you're dealing with matters.
